Make A Wish – Step by Step Tutorial

Thought it might be nice to give you some step by steps on this fun card!

There are a couple of fun things along the way – so let’s stamp!

First you will need to make a card base out of Lucky Limeade (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored and folded to 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″) Then you will need to cut your main front panel 4″ x 5 1/4″ out of Whisper White

Using your corner rounder, round all four corners of your main panel

Then, I made myself the COOLEST spritzer EVER – About 5 or 6 drops of Pool Party reinker and some shimmer paint mixed with some rubbing alcohol and I had Pearlized Pool Party spritzer!

SEE???? Fun, huh?!? Don’t worry, it flattens out. So I sprayed the bottom left corner and top right corners….

Then I took a paper towel, crumpled it up, and used it to dab ink on my chevron stamp. I then left the stamp on my table and then pressed my cardstock onto the stamp. This gave me a kind of distressed look to the image

Then I wanted to add the look of a larger ink spatter, but wanted some control, so I dropped a few drops of Lucky Limeade re-inker onto a scrap paper

Then I flipped it over so I could apply controlled drops onto my card

Then I used Rich Razzleberry to stamp “Make a Wish” at the bottom left

Then clean your stamp, re-ink it in Island Indigo, stamp above the first one, clean your stamp again, ink it in Lucky Limeade and stamp above that.

I knew I wanted to add the same bling on the card that I have in my header, and I am so happy that my awesome friend Cindy Beach shared with me how I could do that – Mix a drop of Crystal Effects with a re-inker and apply to your rhinestones! Take a look
