Prayers and a short break
Hi just wanted to post really quickly to say that I might not be posting much the next two weeks. Hubby is flying to Idaho on Wed. His Mom called us yesterday to let us know that his step dad only had a few days left. I’ll be staying here with the boys. I am saddend as I would have loved to be able to attend the services, but it will be good for her to have her son there.
Dennis is an awesome man. I felt a great connection with him from the very first time I met him. He was my "co-boss" (Our spouses have a tendency to be a little goofy sometimes and somebody has to be the boss). He had a great zest for life, worked hard and finally retired less than a year ago. They had just finished building their dream home together a couple of years ago. A Nez-Perce indian he had a great draw to the land and was a true outdoorsman.
Being as I will be playing single mom for a week, and then leaving for SU Leadership convention, I probably will not have much time to post. Please bear with me.
On a side note – To any of my local gals – please note that my class on the 5th will now be cancelled. Love you all!
