Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team Projects – September – Part 1

Hey there! Remember a while back when I posted that pic of some of the fun goodies that Stampin' Up! sent the design team for September – well, It's my turn to post what I did with them. Let me tell you – my other Design Team members made it HARD for me this month.  Did you see Erica's owl and Wendy's wreath, Jane and Cindy's awesome projects in week 1? Seriously – ALL of the projects that have been posted were AMAZING! I did NOT want to post anything after them!

So I decided to start off with a project using the fun set Perfectly Preserved and the coordinating Framelits. I LOVE that Stampin' Up! bundled these products for us (who doesn't love to save a  little $$?) When I first saw this set, I totally fell in love with it. Then my "logical" side kicked in (I don't like that side) and I wondered what would I actually do with it. So, what did I do? Why get it in MDS of course!!!! I love being able to play with sets in MDS before buying them, just to see how I will use them 🙂

ok, so blah, blah, blah right? Here is a CUTE (If I do say so myself) card. Very SIMPLE and clean…but I LOVE it, it's very me!

I stamped the apples in More Mustard, Cajun Craze and Rapberry Ripple, and the leaves in Lucky Limeade on the First Edition Paper. Zipped them through the Big Shot in their matching dies….easy peasy APPLE squuezy! The saying is also in the set. There is a matching framelit, but this I cut by hand so that I could get it small enough to mat it on a piece of Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon. I added a little bit of interest by scoring out a frame with the Simply Scored tool.

I also decided to make a few little rosettes to make a fun little treat. Now I looked almost everywhere for a small lollipop and couldn't find them! So…they are just going to LOOK like lollipops instead of embellishing them…

they are seriously adorable! That's the new little scallop punch behind the apples… I love them 🙂

  1. Love it!! Seriously!! Love, love love what you did with the apples. Your card is very clean and so beautiful. I have such a hard time with “clean!” I admire your work girl! you rocked it!! And, could I stick one of the apple sticks in an apple-tini?? Cause, that would make it my kind of treat!!! 😉
